Abongile Dyariwe is the founder and Managing Director of Myirha Consulting, a black-owned, bespoke project, programme, and portfolio management consultancy specialising in PMO design and implementation utilising customer centric solutions to optimise PMO value and ensure enterprise strategic portfolio delivery. Mr Dyariwe has been a proud and passionate member of the project management profession for over 15 years. As a project, programme, and portfolio management consultant, he provides strategic and operational improvement advice to clients in Africa, specialising in the built environment. His consulting advice is built upon years of experience leading and directing strategic initiatives for large organisations.

Myirha Consulting offers customised solutions for large organisations and emerging start-ups alike. He has achieved strategic governance and tactical delivery successes leading multibillion-dollar capital infrastructure and strategic growth portfolios. He is recognised for building high-performing organisations known for exceeding customer expectations.

He has developed and delivered project management training at all levels of project management—from Project Management Professional (PMP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP). He is a passionate mentor and coach to the built environment community, building construction management and construction project management capabilities aligned to the unique needs of the construction industry.

An active member of the Project Management Institute since 2013, registered as the first black South African professional to obtain the Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) certification with the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is amongst the top three (3) certified professionals in South Africa to obtain PfMP, PgMP and PMP with the PMI.

Abongile is also registered with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Construction Project Manager (PrCPM). He holds a Masters degree in Built Environment from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Civil Engineering and a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

His industry knowledge spans from working in the freight logistics, utilities and public sector infrastructural investments and that has better positioned him to lead Myirha Consulting to success and to positively contribute to the successes of many clients.
